Cleverly Academy, operated by Parker International LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially children. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our website at cleverlyacademy.com and associated services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing). This information is collected from the account holder, who must be at least 18 years of age.

Player Profile Information: Account holders may create player profiles for family members. Profile information includes a chosen display name and avatar emoji. We do not collect personal information directly from children.

Usage Data: We collect information about puzzle completions, including puzzle type, difficulty level, completion time, and timestamps. This data is used to provide progress tracking, adaptive difficulty, streaks, badges, and leaderboard features.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. We receive only a subscription status and Stripe customer ID for account management purposes.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain the Service; process subscriptions and payments; track puzzle progress and award achievements; display leaderboard rankings using account display names; send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets); and improve the Service based on usage patterns.

3. Children’s Privacy

Cleverly Academy is designed for family use under parental supervision. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All accounts must be created by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old. Player profiles for children contain only a chosen display name and avatar — no personal information such as real names, email addresses, or photos is collected from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, please contact us immediately at support@cleverlyacademy.com and we will promptly delete such information.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information with the following service providers who assist in operating the Service:

Supabase: Database hosting and authentication services. Stripe: Payment processing. Vercel: Website hosting. Resend: Transactional email delivery.

These providers access only the information necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.

5. Leaderboard & Public Information

Account display names, player profile avatars, and puzzle statistics may be visible to other users on the public leaderboard. No email addresses, real names, or other personal information is displayed on leaderboards. You may choose any display name for your account and player profiles.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, row-level security on our database, and secure payment processing via Stripe. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data so it is available if you resubscribe. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@cleverlyacademy.com. Upon such request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We do not serve advertisements within the Service.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; and object to or restrict certain processing of your information. 10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
